Thank you for your interest in teaching a workshop at NK Designs. We provide a space that is open to art, crafts and DiY projects that will help people of all ages express their creativity.
We want all designers to be a positive reflection of NK Designs & the workshops. So whether you are a one-time designer or become a more regular part of the team here are few things we require:
ALL workshops MUST have a workshop form filled out. Incomplete forms will not be accepted
Workshops are put on calendar first come first serve basis. You are not guaranteed the date you request on form but I will do my best to accommodate.
Designers should arrive at minimum 30 minutes prior to workshop to set up and be ready to start workshop
Designers will provide their own supplies unless otherwise discussed
All supplies should be prepped and ready for customer use
ONLY LIVE step by step instruction will be given at NK Designs. NO video teaching will be allowed.
ALL designers are responsible for clean up after their workshop. IF garbage is full OR there is food/drink in garbage, it MUST be taken out. Sweeping may be necessary depending on class. Please use discretion and leave workshop as it looked when you arrived. (failure to clean up workshop after each class will result in a $25 charge)
All workshops with completed forms submitted at least 4 weeks prior to workshop date will be advertised on the NK Designs website, Facebook page and Instagram page (*other additional media may also be used)
NK Designs will create and advertise SUBMITTED and APPROVED workshops. We are a NEW shop in Merced, so we ask that you help us get the word out to your circle of life as well.
Designer agrees to TAG ALL photos and marketing in regard to a submitted workshop with NK Designs. Either of these tags are acceptable:@NKdesigns.gifts , www.nkdesginsgifts.com Additional tags (not required) #imadeitatnkdesigns ,#NKdesigns
Each designer agrees to pay $50 plus 10% of total registration per workshop. This includes the use of the workshop, registration set up on NK Designs website, Promotions on all NK Designs social media platforms (website, facebook and Instagram) $50 workshop fee is paid upon submission of workshop and must be paid before registration and promotions will begin.
ALL registration for workshops held and through NK Designs will go through NK Designs whether payment is paypal, square or cash. Once a workshop has been held, the designer will receive payment (2-3 days*) based on amount agreed on workshop form minus any paypal or square fees. *Payment to designer may take 2-3 days once workshop is held to verify all expectation and lock up procedures have been held.
If you are bringing in your own designed craft to teach you are consider an independent designer, therefore you are NOT employee of NK Designs. However, you are still held under NK Designs expectations.
You are RESPONSIBLE for locking up the shop when your class is complete. Failure to do so will result loss of class payment and possible termination of future workshops.
